who would win in a race my talon tsi awd or this kids 240sx. I think it is like a 97 or so. He has a muffler and an intake and it is a stick. But wut im wondering is that do thsoe cars have nice torgue off line? But im ging to race him tomm and im just wonering. Im tryin to get him to race me from a rolling start so i can just chill in 2nd and then take off. But i think i will win either way we race unless i miss a gear or something like that.

Relatively stock 240sx's aren't very fast cars.

well it doesn't really matter b/c from a stop i beat him by like 8cars and once he caught up and we went down a different road we went from a roll and i still beat him by like 4cars but omfg thsoe cars r slow and he was aying his was fast and #@%#@%#@%#@% and he could beat me hahah looser

The 240sx can be fast but TSi's are much faster. So ya know they have 155 horsepower and 156 torque, it doesnt matter what year.

Yeah, they are actually pretty slow. I beat one with my 93 GS. Both with 5-speeds...we both knew the stats witch made this win sooo fun

okay my Integra will smoke a stock 240SX. Seriously, my friend has an S13 ('89-94) they're the lightest U.S. models, his is a hatchback (coupe is probably lighter), weighs less than the 95-97 S14's and the 98+ S15's that we dont get. He's got a 95+ engine, still a KA24 (KA24DE??) its the same engine as in a Nissan pickup. He's got intake, exhaust, a body kit, a wing, "racing seats", and most of the interior missing, but he doesn't even pretend its fast so its okay.
I smoked him, my car runs 17.0 @ 86mph (yes, 1/4 mile), I've got a cone filter and no muffler, so basically, the only DSM that wouldn't take it is probably a 1.8.

My old 92 240sx did a 16 flat with just i/h/e.... and it was an automatic...

so i'm thinking you're friend can't drive....

i watched some guy w/ a s13 run a 15.6 He let me look under his hood and everything and besides a lot of dirt in the engine bay i didn't see any after market parts. I noticed he had a full aftermarket exhaust system.. other than that there was nothing. It was a 5spd, but i dunno how much of a diff that would make. so i guess little situation w/ the 17 second integra is what most people would call a fluke

I used to have a totally "riced out" 1991 Toyota Celica. It had a 1.6 liter engine with 103hp engine. My engine mods were almost zero. I had a Weapon R cat-back and a drop in K&N airfilter. The car was totally decked out with side skirts, and a Supra Style spoiler. I had rims 15 inch, but they looked big because the wheel wells were small and only had 13inch rims from the factory. Anyway my car was total rice. I had some good days when I killed some cars I can't believe I even raced. I beat a couple of camaros, some Z28's. I beat a Brand new 3000 GT SL on a hot day with his air blasting and mine off sweating . I had a lot of fun in that car but I got wasted too.
I got wasted by a suped up 86 Monte Carlo SS . That was really embarrasing. I got beat by a 240SX that was not even fixed up, but it was 155hp and a 5-speed. I learned my lesson about ricing up a car to look super hot, but have not enough go. I still like the fix cars up to look cool, but it is a lot more fun to have the go instead of just show. I don't have the cash yet to get the best of both...... but, I'm working on it. For now I will just have to make due with my 1992 Talon ES.

Ya JJay sleepers are the way to go. Thats one (of the many) reasons i like DSMs. They look good stock and theyre pretty fast. AAAAAHHHH SUPRA.........only takes a second seat to skylines exotic "rice burners" gotta love em.
