Line not hooked up

I was messing with my car earlier and noticed that this hole was plugged and the line not hooked up, circled in this picture here:

what does this go to, do i need to plug it back in?

I saw the link RandyJr, but what will this do, create more HP?

It will just bypass all of those lines which could be leaking, no hp gains. It makes the engine bay a little neater looking.

Is there another diagram that is larger. My computer shows it very small, and very hard to read. I would love to make my engine compartment a whole heck of a lot neater!
