Will an AWD clutch slave bolt up to a fwd?

hi, i am doing a AT to MT conversion, just getting parts right now, i can get a clutch slave cheap from a 91 awd MT, i am just wondering if anyone knows if the clutch slave, 6-bolt flywheel and clutch system can be used in the fwd tranny.

I had the same question at one time. The Haynes manual shows the fwd and awd slave cylinders to be different, the awd has the bleeder screw and the clutch fluid line inlet to be on the same side while the fwd has one of them at a different spot. I believe it will bolt up but I don't know if the metal fluid line will bend enough to bolt up to the cylinder.

If the only issue is the fluid line i can just take it off the awd too.

I would just get a brand new slave cylinder, I personally would not put on a used one. When my slave cylinder broke, I got one from Advanced Auto for $15.00, Brand new. The brand was called True Torque, It has a lifetime warrenty so the name did not faze me as if it broke I could easily get a free one. It works great.

If a fwd is that cheap new, I say get it too. I know that an awd slave cylinder from Advance was about $40.
