value of 95 talon tsi

OK about 8 months ago i put a 90 6 bolt motor in a 95 talon tsi fwd. The kids grandfather died and is getting a large settlement and wants to sell the car. He is asking for 2500 for the car which isnt bad as the body is perfect and so is the interior. I did the motor swap and all is good there. I just wanted to know what would be a good value of this car if i decided to turn around and resell it? The engine is stock with an added RFL bov, Autometer boost gauge and a new t-25 with less than 500 miles on it. The only reason i ask is because if i get the car i will sell it and get an AWD 1G. the only problem with the car is that he is running the bov to the atmosphere and it runs rich on idle. Thats it. My guess would be around th 4-4500 range as kelly blue book lists the car at 3500.Im not sure though just wanted some opinions.

first off, if you did a 6 bolt swap, there wouldn't be a t25 in it. there would be a 14b in it

2nd, who do you plan on selling it to? a DSMer or some 16 year old kid? i

3rd, how many miles? ATX or MTX? we need more info

assuming MTX with < 100k on the body < 10k on the 6 bolt i'd probably venture to say 6-10k depending on where you sell it

I used the 95 head as it was the easiest way to do the swap because he wanted the car back asap. The car has 120,000 miles on it manual tranny and id like to sell it to someone who has knowledge about the car. When i did the 6 bolt swap i did not get any check engine lights or have there been a check engine light usually associated with the swap. The motor that came out of the 90 was from a eclipse that has 92,000 on it. Atleast thats what the kid said when he brought me the motor. car doesnt smoke and isnt highly modified so its a good starter car for someone that wants a 2g without the normal 2g 4g63 problems.

well with that info i'd say you could probably get 5-6k out of her
