installing a 2G Sunroof

if i was to get ahold of a factory sunroof is there a place that can put it in for me? cuz i have heard that a factory sunroof can only be installed at the factory...and if u want a sunroof you would have to get an aftermarket one!
does anyone know anything about this stuff?

i just picked up a mint sunroof cheap,...i went to the yard and totally removed it myself,..so i am confident i can install it myself also. I am going to try this weekend, but if you have no access to tools, i know some detailing shops install sunroofs,..but it may be only aftermarket brand that come with directions.

I don't think the 2g stock sunroofs will work. I'm in the process of getting a sunroof too and was about to buy a complete 2g sunroof for $100 but when I took a look at it, it goes under the roof and the aftermarket ones goes over the roof. Your going to have to find some way to bend the edge of the roof to put it in and I'd think it will be pretty hard.

the stock 2g sunroof goes over the roof but it needs a diff roof to work. i have a buddy that has a aftermarket one. its bigger then the stock one and its power. ill ask him if he wants to get rid of it.
