I need to get a disabled 1g from VA to NJ w/o a tow hitch any suggestions? Please thanks

is it awd? if so leave it in neutral and keep all four wheels grounded, if its stick, the car can be left off, because of tranny coolers.
I BELIEVE not certain if its automatic, it needs to be running and in neutral.
a fwd model could just be dragged on dollies front wheels up.
