If I get this Turbo manafold..what else do I need to have a complete Turbo Kit?!?!

I was looking around ebay the other day and saw this turbo manafold for sale...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2458185276

is this a good manafold?
and what else do I need to make a complete turbo kit?
is this for a external or internal wastegate? whats the diffrence?
what wastegate to get?
what turbo to get?
and costs and where I can get the other parts to complete this setup

and what about the FMIC how can I bolt that up? how do the pipes run into the FMIC?

and how would I bolt this up to my 420a?
Can sombody give me the step on how I could bolt this up to my 420a?

I am seriously thinking about buying this...and what PSI can I run on a setup like this with stock internals? I wouldn't mind if I had to run a low PSI until I can upgrade for a HRC kit or something...thankz in advance for any help

and I am generally a newbie when It comes to turbo systems..but I know alittle....

1 - link not working when I posted this and
2 - it's impossible to make any reasonable estimates of what kind of output you will see with this system as so far, all you have is a manifold you *might* buy.

I suggest you headover to www.2gnt.com and check the things we've seen before forum (or the turbo conversion forum here I guess) and do some reading. If this manifold you're looking at is made to go on a Chrysler 420A, then it could be possible, but you are going to get what you pay for. If it's a cheap manifold (since I couldn't see anything), you may get a system together only to have it fall apart on you and put you through hell. If you want to do the turbo in steps and maybe piece together a kit, I'd say buy all the supporting mods for your fuel system and the proper gauges, then start worrying about turbos and manifolds. If all else fails, I'm pretty sure you can just buy the mani and s16g from HRC for under a grand.

Research research research man!

sorry link should work now...hmm I seem to be doing alot of research and usually don't come up with nothing when it comes to custom turbo kits..I mean I don't know where to put certain stuff..Like where to I put my BOV when I would have custom pipes bent..how do I run this all into the intercooler...all questions like that..do I use an external wastegate? since this manafold has a flange for a Tial or Turbonetics Wastegate...this guy said he can supply most of the parts so i should look into that...

it will fit...

you have to get a t3/t4 turbo

you have to get an external wastegate (i think)

you will need fuel support and you can always buy a hahn race craft fmic kit from www.hahnracecraft.com and the pipes will fit like butter, and thats when u choose which BOV to go with, you choose which flange u want on the intercooler pipes...then buy that bov.

you would need like 550 injectors...walboro 190 fuel pump (maybe 255)

blah blah blah...you would need a lot, its cheaper in the end ive heard to build a custom kit, but takes more time.

Re: If I get this Turbo manafold..what else do I need to have a complete Turbo Kit?!?!

I can answer a few of your questions.

Quote:
is this a good manafold?
It's difficult to see the build quality from that picture, however it doesn't look like a very good design.

what wastegate to get?
The manifold is for an external gate. You don't HAVE to use an external gate with it (you could block up the wastegate flange and run a turbo with an internal gate). However, you do get better boost control and flexibility with an external gate.

This is up to you and goal you have in mind for your car. You'll need to do more research and decide for yourself. The range of parts just to get a turbo working on the car to a well running turbocharged car is very large.

Quote:

FMIC pipes run from the turbo outlet through the intercooler, then into the throttlebody. This piping is going to need to be custom fit to whatever turbo setup you end up picking. A FMIC may not even be necessary - again depending on what your goals are. An intercooler may not even be necessary.

This manifold goes in place of your current exhaust manifold. Not to be demeaning, but if you didn't know that I suggest that you don't try to put together your own turbo setup right now. Do some more research and learn how a turbo system works first. Find out what you need to do to your car to support it. Nobody can give you an answer on what parts to buy when your question is so broad. You'll need to figure out what you want/need first and then we can help you more.

cool

so far this is what I am looking at...please see if I am missing somthing..

-Turbo manafold(I know how this bolts up)
-Garrett T3/T4 turbo with or without wastegate(probably going with the external wastegate
-Oil feed line
-Oil return line
-550 injectors(also getting a apexi S-AFC)
-Intercooler and IC pipes from HRC
-TurboXs BOV and flange I can give to HRC to mount on pipes correct?
-Turbonetics Deltagate Mark II external Wastegate
-walboro 225 fuel pump
-downpipe(which the same guy makes)
-Exaust 2.5" or 3" catback?
-air filter and piping

is this all or am i forgetting somthing?

I am still doing research on the turbo systems I have been for awhile...still have a couple questions

I know how the turbo bolts up and manafold and how to run the oil lines and everything the fuel pump i also know how kinda or I will have a shop slap it in the downpipe is easy to install...the only questions I have now is...

How does the external wastegate bolt up? I see where it sits on the manafold but where does that other outlet go....

and what about the BOV is that bolted onto the pipe that comes off of the throttle body correct?..I will send HRC my flange for a turboXs BOV

I think thats about it except where to find a good garrett T3/T4 turbo that will bolt up to this..ebay has a couple tho...but some I don't know about if they are good or not
