I am looking for someone in the central Maine area that know their way around and DSM. I am not new to cars just to the DSM workings. I just bought a 98 GST. I got this car 3 months ago. It was a real basket case. The guy that I bought her from said she had bent valves, but I knew better. He had the motor pulled. Any car guy knows you don't pull the whole motor for a head job. I ripped the block apart and just as I thought crank, rods , pistons were all gone. Number 3 was so bad that we had to bore to 30over. So what I do was send it to the machine. They did the whole nine yards. Hot tank, bore it, deck it and check the head and plane it. I have sense rebuilt the block. New crank , new rods , 75mm pistons and rings, full gasket set lots of love. I have now put the motor in and also new stage 2 clutch. My problem now is no spark. I have done all the test and I have traced it back to the power transistor. I have one on it's way as I post this.
I would like to find someone in my area that I can pay to work with me and teach me when things come up. This is my dream car. I have been waiting to own own one for the better part of 15 years. I always knew what theses sweet rides cost to own, so being a true lover I waited till I could afford to treat my true love with the love and respect that she deserves.
So if you are from the Central Maine area and would like to makes some money and be my Mr. Miyagi please get a hold of me.
