how to tell if my car is a base, rs, or gs

just want to know how to tell what model my car is? its hade a lot of mods b4 i got it so its hard to tell. all i know is its a 420a n/t, 5speed, w/o sunroof, and stock low rise wing i dont know if that really makes a diff.

Sould say it on your car title, if not look up the vin number.

More than likely its an RS. The GS had a sunroof, The GST w/o but it doesnt have the 420A obviously. Check the rear brakes and suspension. The RS came with drums and w/o a rear sway bar. Also with black exterior door handles and sideview mirrors. Hope this helps.

There sure is: Decoding VINs

4th digit covers airbags and seat belts, 5th FWD or AWD, 6th is the price class, and 8th is the engine set up.

next q is can i put a rear sway bar in it if it didnt come with one?
