Hey guys. I posted awhile back but became extremely busy with stuff and never got around to checking my thread and i believe it was deleted. Anyway, here is my predicament. My wife and I are having a child soon and therefor my two door will no longer work. I love my car but being so busy lately i haven't had time to work on many of the "little" problems it has. I'll explain more about them in a lil bit. So, needing a new car, i was seriously considering trading it in, and probably getting screwed left and right with such a low trade-in value, but figured id try on here first, as we are all dsm lovers. I have NEVER hammered this car. Its a 98 gsx awd (obviously) 5spd. The gauges were changed out awhile back with a cluster from a junkyard because mine were damaged when i decided to put ghetto gauge faces on them. When i had the cluster replaced, the car had 67,208 original miles on it, and it was replaced with the junkyard cluster which had 139,427. Well, now, the car reads 157,500. So in order to get the ACTUAL mileage, you subtract 139,427 from 157,500 which is 18,073 then add that to the original mileage of 67,208 and you get the cars ACTUAL mileage of 85,281. THIS has been one of the reasons I've considered trading it in as well because it would just make life easier. Anyway, i have the bill from the garage who did the cluster swap explaining the numbers. Now, the other small issues are: 1) Needs a new turbo gasket. real easy, cheap fix if you know what your doing. The car gets into higher rpms but then sputters because of the leaky turbo gasket. turbo still works absolutely fine tho. 2) When the car died a few years back, i didn't have the security code to the radio so i just ended up replacing it with some pos aftermarket cd player that is like falling into the console. again, easy fix just don't have the time for it. 3) the gas door doesn't stay shut. awhile back i swung it shut after pumping gas and the spring loaded pin that holds it shut broke off. Probably an easy fix but no desire to do it. 4) Probably the biggest problem, there's an exhaust leak somewhere but yet again, no desire to get into anything like that right now. Other than that, there's just a few minor things like a some staining on the upholstery. I just had the harmonic balancer replaced, new belt put on, new hks replica cold air intake. its got a catback exhaust, not sure what brand (was on the car when i bought it) and new sparkplug wires. Thats bascially it for mods. Like i said, i'm not the most car savey person out there so i really never messed with it. SO, after all that.

I'll post some of the pics when i first bought it on here ### i dont have any current pics of it, but im really going to try to get some tomorrow if i have the time. If i have no offers or anyone interested within a month, ill probably just trade it in. I really cant wait any longer, ive already waited wayyy too long to do this. I've always been a procrastinator what can i say
