So i have decided i am going to rebuild my 99' 7-bolt motor with a Manley rotating assembly. All i have to do is find a GOOD machine shop in my area that has worked with 4g63's before. Anyone know of any places they have personally used and have had good experiences with?

sorry about my late reply but theres northeast auto in east hartford ct. they've handled tons of 4g63s and know everything. the only bad thing i can say is that there is a wait LOL. they had my block for a month or so when they did the machine work and assembly. AMAZING work though. very very reputable :thumb:

I'd use Accurate Auto Machine in Middletown. Northeast F'ed up my head on my car. Can't even seat valves in right. Comp is 155 180 180 125. Leaked it down after head was done and intake valve in cyl 4 is leaking bad, exhaust valve in cyl 1 is leaking. Not good... Then I call and tell them what the situation is but didn't say the head was done there and the guy says... "sounds like whoever did your valve job F'ed up it". Yeah, ya think?

Hes been doing my blocks, heads, flywheels for ever. Best around

Yep, RPE did my friends Mazda 323 GT turbo 1.6 engine years ago, with Venolia pistons, ran strong and NEVER a problem....

...only other shop in CT that I would mention is Carlquist Engines in Watertown. He did the same friends 300 ZX TT block and it is killer.....

There is another great place but they aren't cheap. They mostly do top furl dragsters. They did my Twin turbo VR4 heads, 1mm over intake valves, brass guides and a 5 angle valve job.
