electrical problem

Hey guys my car had a short somewhere and the whole wiring harness got burned all the way from the switch to the ignition,lights,wiper,ac I mean the whole thing got burned. I would like to know does the 1G wiring fit a 2G 6bolt any help would be useful and by the way if anyone has the wiring harness itself to sell please get back at me I need one urgently please anyone

A 1g wiring harness would not as the ECU side of it would be different. The 1g ECU uses 3 plugs where the 2g ECU uses 4 plugs.

I'm not sure. My initial guess is not, but since I've never heard of anyone doing it, I can't say for sure. It probably wouldn't be worth it though.

Thanks for your opinion I almost bought me one in ebay.I dont know what to do man cant find this harness nowhere my last choice will be to sell the car since I need a car to work If anyone knows where I could find the harness please let me know thanks

I would give DSM Graveyard a call as they usually have a good selection of parts from what I hear. They do have one listed on eBay, pending on how much you want to spend:
eBay Motors: Eclipse Talon 95-96 NEW WIRING HARNESS AWD Turbo M/T (item 170160783359 end time Sep-14-08 01:13:14 PDT)

If they can't help, I'd troll around the classifieds and start PMing people who are parting out their 2g's. It might be hard to find one, who knows. I think what'll be harder is convincing the seller to actually rip out the harness.
