I do GST's for $250 and GSX's for 300 but you are over 4 hours away

You would be so much better off doing it yourself. Even if your completely inexperienced (like me) you should be able to "git 'er dun" in maybe one to two full days and you'll thank yourself for the extra knowledge and experience. It took me and my brother going slow and taking our time about two days to get everything apart, 10 minutes to put a new clutch, pp, and flywheel, 1 day to put it back together, and another day using a tap and die on some suspension bolts and nuts and a full cleaning of my intake, intercooler, and intercooler pipes. These were not full days as I had to go to work, pick my nephew up from school, watch kids, run to autozone for wrenches and an extra jack and so on, go to the dealer for new suspension bolts, etc. , etc. It wasnt all that hard and was really fun learning how to fix a car instead of just break them. And plus you'll save 250 on installation

I have done alot of work on my past cars. I just dont have the time with work and other projects. Yea, for hours is a bit far to drive it. Hopefully I will find someone local.

I hope they post soon because FedEx just dropped off the clutch from ExtremePSI. Im waiting to install the clutch before I start putting the good parts on.

Boost95, I may be able to do it. I've done quite a few clutch jobs already. Are you going to want the flywheel resurfaced? Are you going to supply new flywheel bolts and fluids (3qts of whatever you prefer)? What type of time window would you want to work with?

Before we get too much into this. Do you mean you MAY have time to do it or you may know how to do it? Also where are you from and how much would you want. I dont plan on replacing the flywheel bolts unless they need it. I will need to get the flywheel resurfaced if it needs it and I would provide the fluids. All I need is someone to do the install.

Oops, sorry about that. I may be able to do it considering the circumstances (time window, if the flywheel is going to get resurfaced, etc).
I'm over in Lake Ariel, its about 35 min. from wilkes barre. I generally like to replace the flywheel bolts if they are original and have quite a bit of miles on them. They are only like 12-15$ from JNZ tuning. Its a good idea to resurface the flywheel, but I don't know how busy my machine shop is, etc. Your looking at around 300 w/out the cost of having the flywheel resurfaced (45+tax @ whatever step height you want). Your looking at a day or two of downtime assuming there are no major hold-ups.

I would like to get it done asap. You have a machine shop to resurface it? Would I be able to drop it off on a Friday? Im going to call around to a few shops to get a quote. If anyone else is out there let me know.

Yep, I use a machine shop up in scranton. Friday would be good for me, the earlier the better. Let me know soon, as I would like to give the machine shop a day or two notice.

2g trans labor rate is around 350-375 just to pull it and put it back in w/out a clutch job at most dsm shops. Most people on the board don't usually have customers

Have you considered Stemar Motorsports? My friend got a clutch done there, he had a really good experience with them, and didn't get raped on the price.

I'd recommend bigjdog84 (joe) he does awesome work, and has tons of knowledge. He'd get it done quickly too. I'd also recommend getting your flywheel resurfaced and grabbing new bolts. I've seen the work the machine shop he brings his stuff to does, it's pretty good stuff.

Will any of them post? I just want to get it installed soon and dont want to drive far from Wilkes Barre- 18704. I have High 12/ Low 13 Second power waiting to be put on in the garage. But I need to get the car running in top shape b4 I throw the parts on. Thanks for the posts, I hope to have it done soon. BTW since most of you are probably near me, is anyone going to NuMidia this year?
