any dsmlink tuners in southern md?

Ok, finally got my dsmlink the other day and began playing around with it but nervous about making my car run to lean. It's rich as hell through the high rpm band and have a lot of knock with it. Was wondering if there are any dsmlink gurus in the southern maryland area (I'm in St. Mary's County)(St. Mary's/Charles/Calvert County) that could help me tune my toy? Thanks in advance.

Hey, I personally can't help you, I'm getting DSMLink in the very near future (like in 2 weeks...) but if memory serves me right, they actually have a forum on the dsmlink website.... I'm pretty sure you can find all kinds of help on there.... good luck in your tuning...

Steve

Hey this is Matthew w/ the 2g blue/black gsx. I am sure you have heard of my car atleast. But anyways the only people around here that I know are familiar w/ dsmlink are me and my buddy ken (primedtsi) w/ the red and black 2g gsx. I am in Calvert county and he is in waldorf now. I know he knows more dsm gus over there and a few might be dsmlink powered but he now went AEM

Thanks for the reply. Actually I've only been living here for about 2 months now, so haven't seen many dsm's (turboed) in the area. After checking your profile, you've got one nasty ride and hope to never run into you on the street The only one I have seen out of county is a 2gen black with fmic in charles county by port tobacco road off of 301. Do you guys go to mir anytime? I'm thinking about finally running mine once I get my fmic in about a month or so and when I get my car tuned up. I'm starting to get use to it, but still can't get all the power I want out of it. Right now dsmlink is hitting me at 315 hp on my 3rd gear wot pulls which was better than around 260 when I first began, so know I'm going somewhere. Would you or someone else give me some tips or help me tune this thing? Unfortunately the farthest I've been in Calvert was CRE looking for homes, so not too familiar with the area. Everything look good until 5000+ rpm mark where I'm maxing out at a pitiful 12 degrees timing. Pumped out my fuel and decreased timing and it ran slower.
As for Waldorf, I played there once and got my ass handed to me by a freaking honda hatchback with a huge tach above the steering wheel when I had bald tires and less mods during winter travelling back and forth from NC. Beat me by about 5 car lengths near the mall on 301.
Also, I know about the forum, which I posted in a few times and the only person to answer was th eowner of the site which helped me out some. Basically I've printed out about 50+ pages from the web about how to tune but can't get it right on my car to save my life. I keep getting knock and everyone elses logs I see have decreased fuel. I'm running an evo 16g with 650's, which I was thinking I'd have to decrease fuel versus adding.
