Hello fellow midwest DSMers. I recently moved from the east coast out here to Alliance Nebraska.For those not familiar with this area, its about center panhandle in the middle of nowhere. Although I don't have many hopes for finding any build or tuner shops close by, and recommendations in the outer lying areas would be greatly appreciated. Rapid City is 2 1/2 hours north, Denver is about 3 hours south, with North Platte in between, and I have no idea yet whats west. If I have to I could go to Lincoln and Omaha which would be a 5 to 6 hour treck east, but I'm hoping there are some great places a bit closer. I'm mainly a street cruizer that loves an occasional weekend doing 1/4 runs. I have a 97 GST thats built and just needing paint and interior, and possibly a bigger turbo if I want to exceed 600+hp, and recently a GST Spyder which I plan on keeping somewhat mild at this time. I've also had another 97 420a converted to turbo set up and a chevy ecotec that never got finished. I'm looking for engine/tuner shops, as well as body & paint/interior fab shops. Any help with acquianting me with my new stomping ground would be appreciated, and I apologize in advance if I missed this info while searching through the forums. Hope to see some of you out and about this summer!
