NASA weekend, Hastings, Nebraska - Aug 9/10 - need drivers!
So we've got a NASA event coming up in a few weeks and we need drivers otherwise it's going to be canceled. Any Midwest people able to attend? If so, let me know. You can register for the event here:
https://www.nasaproracing.com/nasa_e.../?event_id=686
It's a really fun and safe track and only a few years old, so it's nice and smooth with lots of run-off area.
Come on out guys!

Uhh. I thought i replied to this about 3 pm or so. But anyway, i'm going to ry and be there. I've been out a few times with the porsche club, but mainly was working and didn't really get to "enjoy" the track. DO they still allo pit bikes there or have they banned them too???? I was pissed this last year when mid-ohio told us to put the pit bikes up.. electric golf carts only they said

I'm not sure about the pit bikes... email them and let me know what they say! I believe their site is racemph.com.

I can probably come. I live right near the track and can vouch for how nice it is. Would be a great time. Hopefully it still happens. I wouldn't be racing or anything though. Just to watching and drooling. I think I saw your car there before Ludachris. Actually, isn't that the track in your display pic?
Edit: I need to change where I'm from in my profile..

I doubt i'll run my car since i can't afford to be broken down that far from home with no trailer, but i do want to come out and wach and hopefully promote a little bit and see if i can get some business from some guys out that way. I'm going to be at MId America motorplex's "driver education" track day this weekend doing the same thing... If anyone is nearby it's a day where youleanr the "basics" of road racing and get to drive your own car on their road course a few times, i think you go 1 time with an instructor in your car and then once following or being followed, then you get a solo session
It's fun and i haven't done one in over 7 or 8 years since i was in topeka and did theirs in my mitsu when it was just a 16g car

Financial issue came up, can't make it. Hopefully we'll see some pics of other DSMs out there though!
