DSMs in DSM? Des moines, IOWA meet????

Hey fellow DSMers. Was wondering where everyone is at in Iowa. Des Moines to be more specific. I have never really spotted anybody except the usual riced civic driving around. Was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of where we all hang out at.

if you are looking to hang out, head to the cedar falls raceway tonight. We are having a bit of a DSM meet there during the fun night. The gates open at 5:30 and races start at 6:00. We will probably be cruising afterwards too.

idk about desmoines, but Cedar rapids to cedar falls I know quite a few guys. I currently live in CF and am meeting up with new guys all the time, like this nice guy with a colt swapped 4g63, and some others. Originally im from CR, so ofcourse know more guys from around their.

There's a super-riced 2g N/T riding around here. It's got some anime character on it or something, and a huge wing, it looks retarded.

There was a guy washing his black 2g outside last summer, so I stopped to talk to him, and he seemed pretty cool. No real performance mods, he had like a short shift kit and air ride.

Other than that, there are like 3 DSMs driven by old people, and that's about it.

Mine's the one that looks like it got hit with a bomb, no fenders, 4 different colours of paint, the works.

Im looking to set up a meet soon near the dsm area. we all should do something this spring. dont want people talkin shit but im into subarus as well and my buddy has a legacy gt with 420 hp. he told me about these subi meets every month and i might be going to the one next month in dsm. anybody in?

if you are interested, a des moines car club is having a meet in des moines on Saturday April 19th. We are meeting at prospect park around noon and will be hanging out until about 4. This should be pretty big. The idea is getting import cars together for earth day. Anyway, the local Des Moines car club JDMCity.com is hosting it. Come on down if you like.

There are just a few rules since we actually have the park reserved for us. No black marks on the pavement, no glass bottles or ANY trash afterwards, and be VERY respectful of the park. Also, this meet is going to be mostly civics and integras. I am warning you guys up front! Leave the egos at home! That said, it should be lots of fun.

If you want a DSM meet up my buddy and I live in Des Moines, IA and have a few people with us interested on starting up a regular meet for DSMs in the Des Moines area. Get ahold of me if your interested or get in touch with my buddy too. His username is mekal.

i am in clear lake, just 2 hours north of des moines on i-35. if you are thinking of putting together a dsm meet, let me know. i will bring a few guys from the mason/clear lake/forest city area down. Also, we could meet up at Cedar Falls Raceway! The first midnight runs are on may 3rd this year.
