do you guys ever have any local meets around the champaign area? my family lives in Danville and I'd like to come through one weekend. i'm sure a lot of you guys are gonna be going to MOD 07 right?

Actually, most of the DSMcentral guys are in the Peoria area so that where the meets are for the most part. As far as MOD '07, I'm definitely going this year! I didn't go last year but I believe a small group from DSMcentral caravaned to Bloomington-Normal for event. I'm sure the they'll do the same thing this year.

Wish I knew. All the information I can find on MOD '07 is for the California chapter.

I got sick of just searching the web, so I just sent an email to [email protected] requesting information on the MOD '07 in Bloomington-Normal, IL. I'll post up a thread with all the info as soon as I hear back from them.

Yep, gotta love Chicago. There are alot of meetups in Chicago suburbs. Check out chitowndsm.com when it comes back up. Every now and then there will be a super hyped up event that will be worth 3-4hrs of driving.

I just heard back from the MOD crew. Here is the information I was given...

The FactoryMOD event will be held on Saturday, September 8 from 10-3 at Mitsubishi Motors North America in Normal, IL. The address of the plant is 100 North Mitsubishi Motorway, Normal, IL 61761.

There will be after market vendors, plant tours, food, giveaways, etc. Come early and visit the displays and look at the other Mitsubishi vehicles. Thank you for your interest. If you have specific questions you can e-mail me at [email protected]--I'm located at the plant.

Steve, I missed MOD '06 too as it was right after my accident. Needless to say, I'm going this year for sure. I started a new thread with all the info.
