Champaign/Urbana DSM Club?

Is there a DSM Club,team,etc., in the Champaign/Urbana area? I recently moved to the area from STL, MO, bought a 91 Eclipse GSX and Want to know more about it from others who have similar cars.

I dont think there is....People awlays coming in and out for school......I dont see that many DSM;s there anyway. Any of em you see are generally the college kids.

I am the admin. of a group down there for a car club consisting of whoever wants to join from school. I dont think we are gonna have a meet before winter, but we will when spring rolls around. I can let you guys here know about it too. Plenty o rich kids wanting to race.

The DSM scene around here is really inconsistent. There are always some U of I students driving DSMs, but they are in and out of the area a lot. Anyways, I'm a local guy so I'm always around if anybody ever wants to get something going. Oh yeah, you folks might want to check out DSMcentral... not a C-U specific DSM board, but covers most of central Illinois. It gets my vote of approval!
