DSM-Meet / Auto-x on October 1st in Wisconsin Rapids.

This thread is an extension off the original DSM meet thread that was closed for some weird reason.

As everyone wanted, this is another little DSM meet for anyone that would like to attend. I thought it would be a good idea to plan a DSM meet during a local auto-x. Here are the event details:

Where: Goldan Sands Speedway on HWY 54 between Wisconsin Rapids and Plover.
When: Sunday, October 1st, 2006. Registration starts at 10am.
Cost: Cost of the Auto-x is $30

This event is very fun and was a blast last year.

I'm knew to the area and would like to try and make this, depending on how busy I am with school and what not. It'd be good to get out and meet some DSMers from around here. I definitely won't be trying to run though, if I can make it.

Yeah, I am on dominators some times, not a lot though. I dont live in rapids any more. I live in Stevens Point.

Well, anyone can come and watch and even ride along, as long as your over 18.

AWESOME EVENT. I managed to place 1st in Street Modified with a time of 37.919. Next closest was a 38.4something. The night session I placed 2nd with a time of 38.908. A 240 with a SR-20 motor swap pulled off a 38.5 on the very last run of the night. Only 1 DSM broke, blew out his rear-diff completely apart on his very first run. He got no more than 10 feet after doing a stutterbox launch. Here are some pictures of the event:
