a girl in need of help!!!

Ok i know my cars but this one has me stumped!! I have a 2g 95 eagle talon es automatic 2.0 k and one day i went out to start it and the 2nd spark plug shot out of it i got that prob fixed but i think it messed up somethin else so ill explain what its doin.... When i fixed that then it was staling and it wouldnt even go when you hit the gas it did that for like 2 days then it quit so i left it alone then the tires locked up on the highway so i got it off to the shoulder and let it sit for like 30mins and it was fine then today i was going to work doin like 70 but it wouldnt accelerate over 70 like it wasnt down shifting so i dont know what the hell is wrong with it now NE ideas i just put a new tranny in it like july 05 so i dont think its the tranny i could be wrong tho so ne ideas let me know please but it stalls if you try to go over 70 it just slows down and wont accelerate im stumped ive tried everything i know so PLAESE NE ideas let me know thanks!!!!

sounds like your catalytic converter is blocked up ,

is the check engine light on ?

Get the car to a Chrysler shop for the transfer case recall.

Its an ES it doesnt have a tranfer case.

Is the CEL on? Does it feel normal getting to 70?

if its not the cat, i would check the tps. i had the same problem with my gs auto. it didnt like to shift and had a rough idle. i replaced the whole throtlle body (because i had one sitting around) and it ran like a dream

my car will accelerate to 70 mph then when it gets there it wont go past 2500 rpms and if i try it just bogs down and no the check engine light isn't on!!!

I would be willing to take a look at it and go through some trouble shooting with you.But you would have to drive it to louisburg Ks.(about 20 min.)

dont't drive over 70!
BTW..if your wheels are locking up on the highway, do you really think it's a good idea to go 70? Have you ever been rear ended by a semi at that speed?

get a dsm (4g63t) not a dodge neon (420a)

well sice its broken,i bet the cat is sittung in your muffler stopping exhaust flow..thus no 70mph
