Hey guys if any of you want to get together, I have the opportunity for us to do it. The KC Subaru group is having a BBQ on July 23rd at Shawnee Mission Park and they said that we are welcome to come. If any of you have any questions just pm me. I will be happy to answer them. It would be really cool for all of us to get togther and finally be able to meet each other. Not to mention the KC subaru group, who are a bunch of really nice guys. Let me know asap if you are going to go because I would like to get a head count.

I just got notified that an evo might be coming along with me.

Bad ass, an evo. I'm bringing a cake for the meet and its going to be one of those ones where you put the picture on it. I tried to find one where it was a subaru and a dsm but I couldnt find one. Instead I found one of a evo and and sti flying off a jump at the same time.

What part of KC MO are you from?

From the south part of the I 435 loop.

I 435 west to to 87th st (I 435 will swing north before you hit 87th st). Exit onto 87th st. Left (West) on 87st, Right (North) on Renner to 79th st. The main entrance is on the left.

From mid town:

I 70 west to I 435 south. Exit onto 87th st. Right (west) on 87st. Right (North) on Renner to 79th st. The main entrance is on the left.




So my car club might be able to come. 8 people at the most. Still trying to find out if any can make it.

Any problem with that many? Mostly Honda guys, one Neon and me

I am a member of the forum known as kcsubaru, and in the past it was just their members at the meets. However, I joined and since I am a dedicated dsmer (my name on there is psychoDSMer ) I asked if it is cool to post on here about the meet. They said it's okay. So as far as I know, the more the merrier. They said that there may not be a lot of room at the shelter they reserved, but I think it should be okay.
Everyone has to bring food. It really doesn't matter what you bring, but since this is going to be bigger then planned (which is a good thing) if you could bring some hamburgers or hotdogs or something of that measure it would be great. Just remeber, we can never have enough silverware .
Since there is going to be alot more people then I or the guys at kcsubaru had planned, I may need to ask someone or some people to be able to bring a grill or two. I can bring one, but just tell me if you can.

I am also interested in coming to the event. I just got back into the dsm scene and would like some pointers from some nearby people. I live about an hour east of kc. Would it be cool if i came also with a friend or two. We could bring whatever needed. If not no prob.

I know of quite a few people around lawrence who want to go. We are all following each other out there so if there are anybody who is in the area and would like to follow, just pm me and let me know. It sounds like this meet will be a big turn out!!

FYI we are meeting in shelter #3
I cannot stress enough how important it is that you bring food (hot dogs, burgers, condoments, buns, chips), drinks (if you can bring it in a cooler that would be great), or 5 or more bucks. I don't know if there will be enough for everyone.
