I know everyone is going to think if a 6bolt was available it's probably already sold but I had to try just in case someone in the Mid Atlantic region has one they may want to part with. I bought my DSM 2 months ago and hardly drive it because of the dreaded CW issue, although it runs and drives fine I just don't want to get stuck somewhere.

I have the issue with turning left and clutch pedal doesn't come back on its own, and I hear the ticking sound when the pedal is pressed. I really can't wait to get this thing back on the road reliably and the 6 bolt should help with that. I really don't want to but I guess I'd be open to 6 bolt short blocks also.

Thanks

Crankwalk isn't as common as you think. I've seen 6 bolts walk, In fact any motor can. But when It does it's more commonly found in the 95-96 4g63's.
I think people just get a little worked up over the 7bolts crankwalking LOL...

If you're worried about it, drop the pan and check the crank. Check the bearings

Have you checked your clutch fluid level?. It might be low. You might have air in the line and need to bleed it?. Or might need a new slave cylinder.

I visited a friend today that just pulled a 6bolt race motor from a car he is finally parting out. Its in Hyattsville, MD. PM me if interested.

PM me if interested in a complete 6 bolt longblock with a built head, or just a stock bottom end.. The head has crower springs and retainers, arp headstuds, new valves, 3G lifters, ect.. The bottom end has 110,000 and is in great shape. Never bored.

The 7 bolt finally gave up after multiple bearings decided to go, so the crankwalk issue is real and I don't want to keep having the same problem so I would rather just get a 6bolt motor and replace all parts on it with oem parts and call it a day. This spyder that I have is going to be my DD/beater and I don't want to have to always be worrying about the engine.

I am open to Longblocks or Shortblocks but would prefer a shortblock at this point since I have my 2g head prepped and machined ready to mate to a shortblock.

Thanks!
