And back OT... if the engine is out of the car, its really not that hard. Get really high and watch some videos on howstuffworks.com

Then when you sober up try and peice together a build plan and if you can make sure you have everything, you are competent enough to build an engine

I havent built one my self yet, but I bet its way easier than doing a timing belt job with the engine in the car.

If I did build cars, Id probably charge $50 and beer as fast as I can drink it .

DSM isnt really the car to buy to pay people to do stuff for ya... thats what bimmers/audis are for. But i commend you on you purchase decision nonetheless.
