Good Opportunity???? NEED HELP PLEASE?

I have the opportunity to sell my 1990 Honda CRX with a perfect B18b Swap and buy a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST with a gen 1 motor swap. one catch is the motor is sputtering at 4k and above once boost is hit. is this common, easy fix? oh i can get the car which is in amazing condition other than that problem for 2k. i need the opinion of people who know dsm better than me. thanks in advance and advice would be great to.

Does the car have any mods on it you can think of?

no mods at all a bone stock 1g 4g63 6 bolt motor swap. i have read about this issue and i dont think it would too bad to fix. wire on the maf plug not switched or spark plugs or wires. i believe it is something small. but as i said i need advice from people who know these cars better than i.

Random misfire possibly? Does it throw a cel light when it sputters? Random misfire is common in 2g's with a 6 bolt swap, but there are ways to solve this.
