Hey does anyone know a good shop to tune DSM's. I live in baltimore and im willing to make a little drive for a good tune. But nothing outrageous maybe 1 to 2 hour drive. I know about ISP but i was wondering if there was anyone else around. Thanks!!!

ISP is your best bet within 2 hours of B-more buddy. Brad there is one of the best there is. More options if you keep going south but there's no reason to go further than ISP if you're trying to stay close by.

Ok ive just heard some not so good experiences with them. But i have heard Brad knows his stuff. I just have a tendency to like going to smaller shops because they tend to care about the customer and not just the customers money.

----- Not saying this is true of ISP ive not been to them yet and i have heard good things about them as well so not crapping on them at all. I just like seeing some options.

By the way does anyone know whatever happened to Extreme Motorsports, i know they had an arson fire never heard if they re opened or shut down for good.

Last i heard was that shit was getting to expensive for them to stay open and that he was just going to take the insurance money and cut his losses. I know a guy who had a car in there when the fire happened, he went though hell to get his stuff back, but thats what he was saying.

I wouldn't call ISP a big shop exactly, haha. They are actually pretty damn small. I'm not sure of what kindof bad experiences you may have heard of, but Peter (The owner) is a generally good guy and means well, he just suffers from the same major problem a lot of shop owners have these days - they try to go beyond their knowledge sometimes when they should be seeking help from one of their employees, and end up screwing something up trying to save a buck. Brad will not do you wrong.

BTW - I'm one of their biggest competitors for local DSM tuning (though further south) and I'm telling you not to bother with anyone else based on what you've said you're looking for; so that should tell you something.

I think there used to be some questionable material on the do it big library that was getting flagged. As far as I know its been removed. I'm able to access it from a DHS line, so it has to be your/your ISP's settings.

Yeah, Rob knows his stuff too. He used to tune my Talon back in the day. Good guy to work with, always eager to share any info he could.

We street tune here, and I actually use AR Fabrication for all my dyno tuning, been going there for about 6 years now and the owner Howard is just about the most knowledgeable, straight forward tuner you will ever meet.

Brad is awesome as well, we used to work together back in the day at Altered Atmosphere.

Shaun from Extreme is still around and he does some tuning on the side as well.

^ Dude you gotta tune them stickers and bench park spoiler man.

In all seriousness, what is there to tune?

A little farther away than you said you want to go. But it's a tune, so you want it done right. TPG Tuning does AWESOME work. They're in pa. Check them out on youtube, or their website. Just google tpg tuning.

Im in fredericksburg and we do street tune at our shop, But as far as closer to you than ISP is good. . . Whenever we do a dyno tune we use theirs (we tune tho), It's one of the best dynos in the area... What are you tuning with?
