MD emission testing with aftermarket intake

I just bought a MAGNUS street intake and my emissions test is due in april. I haven't installed it yet and was going to wait until after the test. Just wanted to ask if there were any 2g owners out there in MD who have a aftermarket intaket manifold and still go though emissions test (OBDII) with no problems, or how you do it. I have DSMLink which I think I can bypass the EGR valve but doesn't the emission test function the valve?

Your car is obd2. so all they will do is hook up to the conector and check for codes in the system,

Here in charles county an extra ten bucks gets me through every time. Even with a check engine light on, no muffler ect.

If you are running V2 DSMlink download Hal's palm app and a palm emulator. With his app you can change all the OBD readiness checks to completed. I just did this a few months back to get my car through emissions.

If yo have any questions visit the DSMlink board. There is a recent thread in the palm app forums explaining how to do this.
