I am in, I'm from the Newark area and am always out. We should all meet up somewhere like newark shopping center or a random parking lot like behind grottos. We should tally up a list and maybe see if people can come this friday or for the car show this sat/sun in newark.

I'm down, I should be getting my car back on the road this week, and I can't wait to get out in it. I'm from smack dab in the middle of Del, so up for North, South, or Central. Whatever works for everyone else.

well, sounds interesting. The DSM is still at the shop, but I might rock the monster truck up to check some of your rides out and have some fun. Hell I might even run the truck for shits and giggles. Anyone else heading out?

Well, did anyone go out? I headed out, and didn't see a single DSM in sight. Some bikes running low 9's at 150, and a mustang gt that got beat by a legacy gt. Pretty good time, and some nice runs...

don't laugh, I went to the track but was not able to run it was only my 2nd time going and I didn't know that you couldn't race with shorts on. there were a couple of 1st gen dsm's there a red one running 14's and a white one with the best run of 13.8 next time I go I'll have pants so I can race, maybe next Wed.

Anyone up for a mid-week T&T at Cecil 8/17?
Last time I went there were NO other DSMs.. so had to beat down all the rustangs myself

BTW.. there is an open Import Event at Cecil on 9/24. Not sure of the details, but should be a good time.

I finally got back into the 13's with a 13.915 at 100.34mph with a 1.872/60'
nice time on that last run you lowered your time by another 10th. My friend with the white one like yours only got a 15.4 but he was taking it easy out of the whole, because he needs new axles next time he should break 14's or lower!!

FYI.. looks like the 9/24 race has been cancelled due to a rescheduled NHRA Race

Oh well, there is an IDRC race at Maple Grove, PA that same day

Bringing this back from the dead..... has anyone been at the track lately? I forgot all about this site I made dedsm.org - I just don't have time to do anything to it. If someone else wants to keep it up go for it. We should meet up sometime - cecil is almost done for the season.

I thought everyone forgot about this forum, there is only two days left at Cecil co dw and I work on Saturday's right now, but can call off sick.

(I think I saw your car on Fri or Sat on rt 7 at the light turning onto 273 I was checking it out, I drive a dart paratransit bus)

anyway I have a couple of friends that are willing to go down if you want to set something up

I dont think cecil is gonna happen for me this season.... finals next week and work. But, we should definitely start meeting somewhere - maybe when its a little warmer.
It probably was my car you saw - I live on rte. 7

Cecil's first open night of 2006 is Fri 2/24 (Grudge Racing).
Sat 3/4 is the first T&T, which I hope to make

So did anyone step up their mods over the winter break?

I'd probably be down, I'm trying to work out a few problems on my new engine/setup. Don't know when, or how soon I can make it due to work and what not. Just post up whenever you guys plan on heading up.

Also a friend of mine is finishing up his 500hp 73 mustang project and will be making some passes soon as he gets everything up and running. He's just waiting on a radiator thats back ordered and to get the custom exhaust run! I'll let you guys know when he heads up, cause I'll probably try to make a couple runs with him.
