exhaust questions

I am going to be buying a 95 eclipse gs to make a project car out of. I am looking at getting a catback exhaust but i dont want that weekwacker rice sound. i want something loud but deep. anyone have any recommendations??? i heard tanabe makes a deep one. any help will be greatly appreciated

i would recommend hks exhaust. their catback exhaust systems can get pretty pricey but they sound awesome on eclipse's

I am running a full Megan system and it sounds good. I am realy happy with it

you really won't get the weedwacker sound on a turbo car. the turbo muffles alot of noise in itself anyway. any mandrel catback usually sounds great on our cars. high RPM is where they really shine with sound

i am running a full vrs exhaust and love the sound although it is a little more expensive i love the sound of a magnaflow muffler

Thats why I went with the Megan the price was right. I looked at alot of systmes but for the price and quilty the MEgan seemed like a good deal. ITs alot better then the Ebay junk

Thermal R&D. You can also see them here. BTW, the exhaust system for the GST will fit on your 2G GS. Not to worry.

It will fit, and probably sound lame and your not going to help your power search. 3'' is going to do nothing for a naturally aspirated engine.

WE GOT HER A FEW WEEKS AGO. SHE'S BEEN 9.40 @ 157, BUT NOT WITH ME DRIVING HER. THE FIRST PASS WE MADE ON HER SHAWN WENT 10.13 & 145, WITH THE JUICE TURNED OFF. SHE'S SET UP WITH DUAL STAGES OF NOS. SHE'S GOING TO MATT AT NORTHERN REFLECTIONS THIS WEEK TO GET HER PARACHUTE AND CONVERT HER ROLL BAR TO A ROLL CAGE.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR MARCH TO GET HERE SO THE TRACKS WILL OPEN BACK UP. REPRESENTING THE DSM'S OF HARFORD COUNTY.

On my GS I have the Greddy EVO2. It sounds great. Nice and deep. Not buzzy...

haha its not quite my twin its my gf's twin minus the awd and tubro but not too much goin on over here except for the weekly meets on thursday. When the track opens up this year i am gonna finally bring my baby out to the track for a few runs and some tunes
