Found a few threads on why there would be one AKA Track. But the job that was done was half assed.. Quiet a bit of wiring issues. Anyways my question is other than track is there anything else I should keep this for? I also might update this if I find a few more hack jobs if that's okay.. Least the engine bay will look nicer :sneaky:

What do you mean by a "Manual Fan"? Like a manual switch in the cabin? That should only have 2 wires running into the engine bay.

I already took it out, it was a switch inside the cabin for turning on the fan. There is currently only one fan so turning on that switch made it spin faster. Also, how can I run one fan on a hot day to keep my engine cool and use AC? The car doesn't overheat either.. Somewhat strange because I thought two was necessary to do so.

I think you should install the other fan. You should have two! Well maybe once you get the 2 fans installed and working you will want to reinstall the switch the right way. It's on vfaq.

I'm not positive that it can be done in a 2g or not. But in a 1g if you turn your blower motor on to the first setting and hit the little snow flake button both of your fans will kick on and stay on.

Isn't the snow flake button the A/C? So by turning the A/C on it turn both fans on. Makes sense. But not the same as wiring both fans to be on simultaneously.

Its possible, that's what my car is doing now. I figure it would overheat.. Gunnabpick up another fan as suggested.

Get a stock fan if possible. You can wire them together at the fuse box, so whenever the ECU kicks on the engine fan the A/C fan comes on as well. Check out this link.

when I bought my 95 gs it only had one fan with no a/c. I bought the second fan and wired it to a switch and relay just for extra cooling at the track. Never had any overheating issues before putting it in and still don't, run it anyway on real hot days just to do so, not because its needed. Got it from a junkyard for $20.00.

I appreciate all the answers! I'm not to cuirous as to how to do it rather than what it was for. Also I can runy AC while the engine is being cooled and the car not overheat. I've only tried it a few times since I don't want to test my luck.

Many people put the fans on a switch to help cool when a front mount is installed. It is also helpful if one lives where it gets really hot, are in lots of stop and go traffic, or both.

You SHOULD be able to run your A/C any time you want without overheating.
