Oil feed line hook up

Just curious as to this oil feed line hook up on the OFH. I placed it in another port than normal, for clearance of my fitting, but is it okay to use this one since it comes from a different source than the lower port? Should I just get a different fitting and use the bottom since it flows straight to the pressure unit?

That is the correct port on that style housing for filtered oil. Take a look at any original 2G turbo housing.

Thanks for the pics and info. My search didn't help like that. I think I had my old 7-bolt feed from the bottom port so I wasn't really sure. Good to go now.

I even had it in the lower port of the OFH I pulled off to install this one, but that housing was for an external oil cooler.
