Resolved What is 6-bolt piston ring size?

replacing the rings in my sock 6bolt pistons and was needing to know what the stock ring size is. and also can i put the wiseco rings in it from extremepsi.com?

stock bore is 85 mm in all 4g63's. over bore usually goes by .5mm up to 86.5mm. Each .5mm is .020" in standard.... anyway yea I've never used them personally but Wiseco is a good brand and Extreme wouldn't sell crap.

You need to check the ring set size for the stock pistons and the wisecos

But why do you want to spend $100+ on the wiseco rings for stock pistons?

The $40 NPR rings will fit

thanks for the advise i found some good rings on dsmgraveyard that were at a cheaper price
