Question

Blown 60A fuse...need to replace

I had my 60A fuse blow on the way home today and am I need to buy a replacement tomorrow (since nothing is opened on Sundays around here). However, I was wondering what the technical name is for that fuse? And can that fuse be purchased at Autozone, AdvanceAuto or Napa?

Fusible link I believe. But yes any automotive store will have them. Did you find out how it blew? May want to investigate that a little and when you buy one and didn't find something be prepared to buy a second. They usually don't just blow. Unless original from factory could of.

Ya, it was the original. And I'm thinking it blew from giving a guy a jump a few hours before due to me hooking up both my cables to the battery, instead of the hooking the negative to a ground?
