98 GSX Automatic Idle Problem

Alright guys I posted recently about a different problem with maybe my alternator or battery but I got a new battery in there and it was running fine for the time being. I am confused as to what is going on. The A/T Temp/Brake and Battery light all come on very dim while slowing down or at an idle. And now when I am at an idle my car idles super low around 300rpm and just a few minutes ago it started bogging down and trying to die. I also noticed while driving the throttle response is shitty. I push down like half way and it stays at the same speed for like 5 seconds doing nothing new and then all of the sudden trys taking off like a bat out of hell. Not sure what this is please help!

Anyone know I am getting super worried and irritated just got the car two days ago! I think I am going to get a new alternator have them test it before they put it on and is there anyway to test the voltage regulator in it? Also is there a big 3 upgrade for the dsms if so where can I get it?

What's the IAS stand for I am sorry I am an idiot when it comes to dsms. There is 83,000 miles and I think there are a few mods just not sure what the previous owners did. The last owner that I bought it from took off an aftermarket turbo and put a stock one back on but other than that I am not sure what has been done. There is a boost controller in there so the owner before the guy I bought it from probably did all that. Also I noticed a wire is hard wired to bypass the fuse for the high beams and he put in a fuse labeled 25 when normally for the high beam it should be 10. Not sure what the hell he did.

take car to autozone and have them test it at the battery. I had the same issue and voltage regulator failed. The problem was the alternator fuse (80 amp) on my 1g.

^^^This is where I would start. Also I would get a hold of the previous owner and see what he tried to do with that high beam issue.

I tested the IAC, replaced alternator, replaced battery, and now I am stuck. It only happens when I turn my headlights on and I think it is directly related to the gauges installed on the car! Not sure:/ Going to try taking them out.
