Ok, so I am looking to order my timing belt components. I was told that I need the waterpump, timing belt, tensioner, tensioner pully, idler pully, balance belt and balance idler.

Ok, I would like to go with the Gates RED timing belt.

As for all of the other parts, would OEM work?

Is the balance eliminater kit something I should consider? If so, what all would I need for my timing belt then?

Basically, I'm looking for someone to tell me all of the parts I will need for my complete timing belt, with the best parts, for the best price, and where I can find them? I am having a hard time finding a kit that includes everything. I would like to eliminate the balance shaft or whatever if it is going to be safer in the long run when im at 400hp.

AS for the belts, I would like the gates belts in RED because I know there of good quality and I like the way they look. Thanks.:hmm:

yep timiing belts there is as thread on this, its really a preference i use oem cheap and good enough, everyone will have different opionons though.

I was looking at buying the kit off of partsdinosaur.com It is a fully timing belt kit for 90 bux but ill also need to buy the water pump and tensionr seperate.

the Gates belt is fine, but be sure to go OEM with everything else.

if you want to do a BSE i believe you will also have to pull the t-case and oil pan.
