engine rebuild in los angeles

i think i have rod knock going on in my 95 gsx.

looking for a recommended well priced shop that can do a rebuild/install.

or if anyone knows where i can get a good engine as well, i'd be interested in the whatever is the less costly route.

i want to get my car back up and running =(

any local dsm gurus want to check out the ride and confirm it is the engine and not something else would be awesome too.

Are you familiar with RRE? If not Google road race engineering, speak to lydia and tell her Calvin (The Marine) sent you. They'll set you up with a great price and do the best work your motor can every pray for plus, you set the tone with the rebuild via purchase power. Sam at RR is damn near a genius and the rest of the crew are just as tight.
