Hello DSM owners I wanted to know a couple of stuff off a aftermarket intake manifold. Well I'm going to get a aftermarket intake manifold and wanted to know what benefits would I get after I put it on.

Well I Have a 97 GST with stock internals? The only thing that aint stock is the injen air intake,cams,and BOV. So what would I be looking at if a get that aftermarket intake manifold? ( I dnt know the brand,sry) but it was going to be equipped with a 70mm turbo, just to give you some what of a hint on how big it is.
 
I think the question here is what are your overall power goals? there's a local running low 11's on a stock 1G manifold and throttle body. I have an extrude honed 1G intake manifold and on 30+ psi i have no traction in 1st-3rd. i honestly doubt you need a new IM that money could be better spent else where

Installing an aftermarket intake manifold isn't that easy. I am currently in the process of installing a JM FAB smic, and it involves modifying the intercooler piping, relocating your battery either lower, getting a smaller one or just moving it somewhere else completely. You also have to find somewhere else to put your coil pack.

The size of the turbo doesn't neccesarly tell the size of the intake manifold, unless you mean a 70mm throttle body.
If you could find out exactly what brand is the one your looking at getting it would help us tell you if itll help you and how hard itll be to install. It would also help to know what size turbo you are running.
