well i had some serious fuel trim issues on the drive home.. i think it may be a water temp sensor issue but i have to check it out some more when i get home

Ok so today i 'll fire up my ride :hellyeah: after long nights, the engine is in n wired up. Now if everything goes as planned :D i should be test drivin it today and doin minor adjustments. im with you guys on the whole buffalo wings thing but, as gangster as i am. I will not drive my dsm thats been under "non op" for i donno how long to "butt eff me rancho" n get rolled:nono:. Im still down to celebrate though :rocks:

I should be able to make it out tomorrow as well.
Anyone have an extra working ISC for a 91-99? I think the one on my VR-4 is dead.

If it's the water temp sensor for the ecu, then it would run rich if I'm not mistaken. Vacuum/boost leaks can throw them way off too.

Are the trims indicating you are rich or lean? I've never played with EcmLink before, but have you thought about adjusting your injector size bigger/smaller to get your trims in check? After you've eliminated the possiblity of vacuum/boost leaks of course. I'm not sure if thats the way you're supposed to adjust your baseline tune with EcmLink, but I think it would get you in the ballpark. You might want to ask the dudes on the dsmlink forum as they will definitely know better than me :D

It'll be awesome to see that thing out in the wild tonight!

Dude I fkin hate ISC's!! Mine went bad and it fried one of the drivers in my eprom ECU! :notgood:

Thankfully the ECU still works fine, just doesn't control the ISC anymore. I'm rollin with the ISC unplugged for now. It surges a tiny bit at startup but surprisingly it's not that bad. Unplug that thing before it takes out your ECU.

Here's a pic of what happend to mine! Be careful with yours.

well the good news is i swapped out the new injectors and put the 660's back in. while swaping them my car ate one of the 1600's as in i dropped it and it was now where to be found... but then i found it after 15mins of looking and finished putting the 660's in... then i took it for a drive and had the same fuel trin problems, so it may not have been the injectors, so i tried turning off my antilag setting and that completly fixed the problem....

so i took her for a 1st drive and the alternator took a dump and by the tim i parked the car at home i wasat 7.0 volts.

so my dsm really doesnt was to come out and play tonight sorry guy:cry:

im still going though so ill see you guys there:thumb:

Nice to have seen everyone again last night.

I tried disconnecting my isc on the way home and I was still idling at 3k

well the ics could be stuck in the most open position... plug it back in and next time it is idling good fully warmed up then unplug it

ok so as you all kno by now, my damn alternator is trippin:mad:, n like i metioned b4, things dont always go as planned "ryte adam?"LOL.... So i think saturday im going to hitt up the junkyard to see if i find a used one."anyone down to roll" or unless someone kno's where i can get mine rebuilt for cheap?

If you find the silver under hood insulation for a turbo 2G at the junkyard pick it up for me and I will buy it from you.

I swapped in another ISC and it appears that issue is fixed, appears because 2 of my tb bolts are stripped :notgood:
IM does not appear to be stripped just the bolts. Hopefully I can locate some at a hardware store. Any one have spares?

She's back up! :hellyeah:
