I just picked up a Palm M100 and Pocketlogger cable/software. I'm still learning how to read and understand the logs, and I'm not quite sure if I have the saving/uploading figured out yet.

My engine has recently started to randomly bog down and/or hesitate. I double checked my vacuum hoses and fixed a few rigged up hoses. Checked all of my piping and electrical connections. According to the logs, whenever I'm noticing this bogging, my knock count is in the 40's and my timing is retarded close to zero.

Thanks to the logger, I was saw the coolant temp. sensor connectors were loose, and the tps was a little off. I still haven't figured out the problem. I've done a boost leak test, and only noticed a leak at the throttle body shaft seal. I'm not so sure this is related to the knocking, as it usually only happens under boost, or just as I get in boost, never at full boost.

Any advice is appreciated. :)

I can't figure out how to properly save and upload the Pocketlogger logs in a way that allows others to download and open them right. I think I've figured out the MMCD files and re-hosted them on Megaupload. I use openoffice spreadsheet to view them, so that may have an effect on others using something else.

Sorry I'm late on getting back to you.

Have you checked out your knock sensor for the infamous "goo leakage"? Also, what boost pressure are you running on your 16g? You FT's are locked so something is keeping the ECU from entering learn mode and updating the trims. Can you make another log at idle, once the car is warmed up, adding O2-R, Baro and IAT. You'll need to log O2-R because for some stupid reason, O2-F is nothing when using MMcd. O2-R is actually the front O2 sensor.

The autometer gauge reads just about 10 lbs of boost. All I've done is remove the BCS restrictor, and the MAF was hacked by the previous owner. The car is otherwise bone stock. I checked the knock sensor 2 months ago, and it looked fine. Maybe it was on it's way out though, because that's around the time the car started acting up. I'll have to check it again this weekend.

Here's another megaupload of a log I just did. I let the car idle and warm up for a few minutes, then took it around the block. I didn't notice much hesitation, but occasionally a little less power than normal. I do notice the o2 on the logger(and narrowband autometer gauge) won't move/cycle until I've driven it around for a minute, regardless of how long it idles for.

I tried the roadsurge.com site for uploading, but the logs don't seem to show up right.

Thanks!

Well it's only the lower honeycomb removed. I figured it had something to do with the slightly rough idle but not sure if it has anything to do with the bogging. I may just pick up a 2g maf if I need a new one.
