Finally got my O2 sensor and installed it today. Raised the boost up to 15psi on the 14B and took a few logs. This is the first one, not too much different than the second one. Ambient air temp was 74 and logged in 3rd gear. Take a look and tell me what you think, this is all stock fuel system.

Looks good. You can drop STFT & LTFT since they aren't used by the ECU at WOT and substitute airflow. What logger program are you using? I would like to see you get your samples / sec up so we have some additional data to look at.

I run Pocketlogger software, version 1.02 but I can't seem to get my samples/sec up, highest it will go is around 12-13s/sec. I've sat there for about 10 mins doing both the inter-byte delay test and the inter-packet delay test, and this is what it stays at. Anything higher/lower than the combo it has now will shoot up the error count.

With 12 - 13 samp/sec you should have a lot more data points than you do in your log. How many parameters were you logging when you made that pull? The more you log, the less data points you get. For example, if you are getting 8 samp/sec and logging 8 parameters, you are only going to get 1 refresh of each parameter every second. If you are only logging 2 parameters with the same data rate, you are now going to get 4 data points per parameter every second.

Drop O2 trim, STFT, LTFT and substitute airflow. Then make another pull in 3rd gear and post it up.

Oh, you might want to download V2.0......Much nicer than V1.

Alright, I work the night shift tonight so on my way back home I'll hit I-95 and do a few pulls, logging RPM, Timing, Airflow, and O2.
By the way, where do I download V2? I've been all over their website and I cannot find the newer version.

EDIT: Never mind about the V2, I found it. Just waiting on the email from them.

So I get the email today and I download the .zip file and load it on my Palm, and its the same version . So do I have to email them saying that I want version 2.0 or is there a place on their website where I can download it? I already filled out the software upgrade request and this is what the sent me.

It isn't a "real release" and is more of a beta. If you purchase the software, you automatically get v1.02. Anyway, all of the information you need is here. You will have to fill out the registration form and please consider donating for the update. I did, hoping that we could get some additional features added.

I'm still harassing him about the ability to convert the analog Lambda WBO2 input on the rear O2 sensor to AFR......Oh, and some color.

My favorite part of the update is the huge numbers displayed on the palm when viewing 4 parameters or less. It's also nice to see the min & max for each parameter. Allows me to keep track of my lowest timing number when I'm not actually logging.

Actually, now that I looked at the site, I do have the newest beta version... I'm sorry for thread jacking, so I won't anymore. I guess that's the software he sent me when I bought my cable, it was only maybe 6 months ago.

Well, now I'm having some connection problems. Well only one I guess, it won't connect. Ever since I upgraded to Beta 2.0 it just says "Waiting for connection" and will not connect. Now before on version 1.whatever I was getting around 10-12s/sec on the same palm and cables. I've even reset the byte timing and tried a few different methods like starting the car then plugging in the cable, but before it didn't matter as I left the OBDII cable plugged in all the time. Any input would be greatly appreciated, but I might just go back to the first version.

Did you remember to re-register the software after you installed it on the Palm? Check the main screen for the word "Unregistered".

Yea, I registured it with the code they sent me in the email along with the V2.0 zip file. I was talking with a friend and he said that I have to have "beam receive on" or something like that, I'm going to take a look at it when I get home.

Ok, so the problem was I didn't have beam recieve on. WTF anyways I did the byte timing test while driving to work yesterday and I'm getting 11-12s/sec but I'm loosing connection alot. The error count doesn't really go up, it just looses connection for 5-10 sec then comes back for a few minutes. It never did this with the previous version, and I double checked all the connections. I might just go back to the previous version as I had nearly zero trouble with it.
By the way, how do I get it to show my MAP pressure? I checked off the box in the preferences but when I open up the dialog box to choose what I want to view there is no selection.

Drop the timing a little and see if that cures your disconnect problems. As for MAP, you don't.
