K this is my first run , running very rich , Wideband pegged at Rich ( 10/1afr)
Pull done in 3rd UPhill

This is at 20psi ( creeping to 20-22 , AT WOT By redline ) STUPID EVO3!!

Then for somehow i the logger stopped Will go back out 2night just dont want to really blow anything up..... This is on evo3 ported , 560Evo8 Inejectors , 255pump , Full turbo back , FMIC , and all other supporting mods

SAFC II was set to -16% Accross the board.... She should have a lot left in her


First Suggestion guys , i just need a little guidance and i KNOW there are plenty of threads i just want some one on one help

Ok, what plugs are you running, and what is the gap? Have you done a boost leak check? What are your TPS trigger points on the SAFC? Is your TPS, on the logger, showing above 90% during your WOT pull?
 
Well Im sorry i did not realize i was in english class. I know that you understood everything i was saying , just did it to save time thank you :thumb:

But.
I am running NGK 7ES's Gapped at .028 , Put these in today the 6ES's were causing a miss.

Yes i have done a boost leak test , it holds fine.

TPS on SAFC is set to 35 Low , 80 High

TPS on logger is 100%

Did another Log on the way home , With 02 Voltage in the mix, again Wideband is pegged at 10.0 - 10.3 the whole pull , Turbo Is creeping up top to around 23psi

Is it true that running to rich can also make you knock?
I dont understand why my timing is so flat.
 
Yes running rich can cause you to knock. A lot of people get knock and keep adding fuel to fix it but it doesnt. Take 2-5% of fuel out where it knocks and see if it helps at all.
 
I don't understand why 30% and 80% are the manditory settings for the AFC.

Every car is different and needs unique settings for the most part. The RRE SAFC article that says to set it at 30/80 is like 8 years old.

For instance, I was seeing lots of part-throttle knock a while back. My High settings are much lower in compensation than the low maps so I raised the low percentage to 50% in order to shift the part-throttle compensation to the richer low map. It worked great and the knock disappeared while still being able to maintain fuel trims.

Piggy backs suck.
 
Well seeing that is pouring here , cant do any pulls unfortunatly... Gunna have to wait till it clears up! :mad:
 
ok Update! Did pulls at -18 Accross the board. Was at 17psi , Creeping to 20-21
( Creep isn't as bad since i leaned it out )

Now its possible , It knocks where i start to creep... Would that cause that.. Should i just give up tuning at low psi and bump it to 20-21 and move on , Without creep.

Any suggestions guys im not really a noob i just dont want to blow up my car :thumb:
 
Your timing looks fine, if you took it to 7k it porbably would have been around 17ish.

You can't try to tune every single tiny dip of timing or you will go crazy.

Loosing 1 degree but then getting it right back is fine. If your timing stay the same for awhile or goes down then you need to worry.

I would set it at 20 and do another Log.

Somebody Indicated to me that my o2 Voltage should be Below .90 is this correct? ( widband still indicates im in 10.5-10.8 range )

Am i still running pretty rich?

Is it safe to take out more fuel , or no? First Pull at low boost looked pretty good!

Your running the Stock SMIC Correct? If so its only gonna be good for so long at 20psi and then start to heat soak, as that happens knock will increase.

Also Pay no attention to your o2 as you have a wideband :thumb:

Ok enough With the fact that i have a FMIC , Should i take out 1-2 % more accross the board till my wideband is around 11-11.5? , Then try to tune out knock from there by adding fuel to where timing dips?
