Hey guys been having trouble getting my 1g running right after throwing a timing belt last summer. I've been really busy with school and just have not had the time to work on it this semester. This morning verified mechanical timing, put new plugs in and it started up, idled rough and then evened out idling at 800ish which is what I had it set to in link. I go to drive it around my complex and now it wont stay idling without gas and is hard to start. Current mods are evo3 16g, evo 3 manifold, deleted emisions, intercooler pipes link V2.5 and PTE 880s. I bought these injectors used and am starting to think they are junk but my voltmeter is not working so no way to verify. If anyone is free this after noon or tomorrow I would appreciate someone to come take a look at her. NEED a DSM GURU! It could potentially be a really bad boost leak but can't check it b/c I dont have a compressor, I do have a bubble though to get air in. Anyways guys I would appreciate some help on this. I'm located in Overland Park off 435 and Antioch.

1 year but have only maybe put a couple hundred miles on the car with it installed. Weirdest thing I went to start it up today and it idled fine for me. Still has a slow response when you rev it and when you let off the gas, RPMs drop slower than what you would expect. Im heading out to replace the fuel filter right now. I still am suspicious of a vac leak though and will boost leak testing it soon, either tonight or tomorrow. In link it is set for the 880s and a 1000 rpm idle and that is it I believe. I had adjusted tps and the fuel trims when I had the stock injectors in but zeroed it out when the 880s went in and left the tps adjustments alone. I did forget to mention that I installed regrind DKS 264 cams in it.

Zero change after fuel filter change. I'll be boost leak testing it tomorrow. I'll take a log of it idling as well and up load it. I tried reving it up and it will almost reach 5k so I'm really leaning toward the boost leak.
 
Hey guys update, got her running with stock injectors. Going to have the injectors cleaned and checked to make sure they are operating properly. I think the combination of new injectors and cams was what was giving me the hold up in getting her running. The 264s are still giving me a little trouble smoothing out air flow per rev and getting a steady idle but I just need to do more reading. Has anyone else ran HKS 264s and noticed them being fairly lopey? On youtube my 264s sound more like some of the 272 clips.
 
So another setback with my car, I was driving around the block and all of a sudden I got a loss of power and then noticed an exhaust leak. I drove home and instantly noticed a hole in one of the runners of the exhaust manifold. I ported it many years ago and apparently got to aggressive with it. So anyway looking for a 2g or evo 3 exhaust manifold. I got a couple leads on them thru the classifieds but would like to find one local.

Hey guys new problem, I'm having issues with these regrind cams I have throwing the rockers off. I have them shimmed properly and the cams do not make contact with the rockers all the time like the stock cams did. Currently I'm north of Wichita heading to KC tonight to pick up my factory cams and then heading back to install them. Most important part of this post is that I need a rocker to replace a broken one. If you have one in the KC area or Wichita area shoot me a text. Thanks guys.
