talk to mad Mike at Modern Automotive Dynamics. Hes over near JAX beaches. He has a badass 1g AWD. Tell him Adam sent you and if he has some time he would be happy to help you out. It all depends on how much work he has going on at his shop.

Mike's car isn't awd, but it's still badass. Definitely does great work though. He's going to rebuild my head for me. A head gasket really isn't too bad if you have the tools. There are very knowledgable and good people here that would be willing to help. I would if I didn't have school starting this week, and my own car to fix when I find free time.

I dropped my head off yesterday and saw him working on yours. It's a beautiful car! Definitely had some problems with it though, especially with the head.

Anybody know a good transmission guy locally? I seriously hate doing transmission work and I've got a busted shift fork. I'm on the westside/orange park area. Any recommendations I'd greatly appreciate it.

Is there anyone around the west side area willing to help me figure out my timing issue? First I need to see if the belt is bad, which wont be hard because the housing for the belt is cracked open and you can easily get to the belt to see if its in good shape. Secondly I need to re-time it.

Ive never done a timing job and my tools have all been stolen by my oh so lovely neighbors so I am unable to do it myself. I bought the car and didnt have an issue but then a few days later I started having a really bad idle issue and even though I didnt have a CEL I hooked up the OBD II scanner and got a P1308 (I think) code which is for timing being one tooth or more off.

My only days off work are wed-fri as I work sat-tue from 2:30p to 12:30a, I am willing to pay in some way shape or form, if you want cash then we will set up a date when my finances allow for the extra cash.

Thanks for your time and sorry for the long post.. Wanna get this thing running right and maybe take it to some car meets around town.
