clutch pedal assembly help

Ok I have a 1990 gsx and I put an act 2600 clutch in it and it started having problems disengaging. I did every thing like bleeding and adjusting it out. I just ordered a shep CPA and I need to get mine out. Is there anyone that has done this before that could possibly help me or at least give me an idea.

Just did this on my 90 tsi awd be prepared to work uncomfortably unless u pull the seat which I didn't.. but other than that remove the steering coloum and go to town.. it isn't a fun job

yeah i already pulled my seat so does the break pedal come out with it too? Did this fix your problem?

Yup it all comes out..fixed my sloppiness but mine was real bad

I pulled mine on my 90 GSX last Saturday. I was able to push the pedal half way down before I even felt pressure. Turns out the hole for the break rod clevice was worn out.

I had to drop the column and disconnected everything. Removed vent pipes. I needed a 12mm socket and an extension to remove everything. That was it. Except for the air chisel. There is a relay bracket right above the clutch pedal. I took the air chisel and broke the spot welds. Once the bracket was out, removed the bolts on the pedal assembly, unhooked the master cylinder rods and out she came. Hoping to put it back in this weekend. Wasn't too complicated.

Well i got the pedal out and shipped it to shep. I am just gonna replace my master and my slave while every thing is torn apart.
