Alright people. Who has the highest mileage for a 1G? Doesn't matter if it's had 1 engine or 20. Highest chassis mileage wins!! I'll set the bar high.

Had a 90 Lazer or is it Laser... ehh bought year last summer from the original owner, and sold it a month ago with 230,XXX on the original engine... while i owned it, the original tranny finaly gave out at 227,463. ... that "longest living" dsm tranny i've ever seen.

2nd motor; that has about 110,000 miles on it.

She doesn't look bad for being old...

143k on the 92 talon awd before it croaked, currently rebuilding.

95k on the 90 eclipse gs-t, i will prove given proper maintence a turbo motor can last a indefinately (at least the bottom end and the turbo) exhaust valves will fatigue with heat cycles and should be replaced at 200k miles.

I had a lebaron gts 2.2 turbo I with 190k miles all original with just a mere headgasket replacment.

I know its kinda off subject but my girlfriends dad had a lebaron turbo with 214k miles without turbo timing it at all. The car JUST broke down with the second owner.

172,000 on the original engine and tranny - and it's my daily driver. And yes, I drive it pretty hard. It has seen an autocross, a road course trackday, and several weekend drives this year. Changed out the original turbo about 15k miles ago.

243,000 on original bottom end. (and tranny!) tranny was the demise. but tranny is getting rebuilt, and lower mileage bottom end is going in. engine still ran good, but had low compression. 100 psi or so. 91 talon awd
