one is "Doctor Dre" and the other "Dr. Dre", there is a difference ... well as far as copyright laws go! I think if you came out with a line of clothing or made it big and called yourself either one of those .... you'd be paying royalties! I went through 3 months of copyright laws, for school, and they are really strict!

I really don't know who came first I would say the "Doctor" came first, but there was "The world class wreckin crue" and that was early 80's ... same as Mtv and Doctor Dre!

yeah they were on hot 97 back in the day, they were also on yo mtv raps for a while and now they are on a pretty new hip-hop station in NY. i forgot the name of the station. i was listening to ed lover and dr dre on hot 97 when i was in jr high and i believe before that. (used to live in NY)
