A dsm might actually have more US parts on it then there beloved american muscle..Our dsm's were built in illinois..I bet they don't realize that..Dsm's in europe and japan are imports, but not in the united states..

My cousin has a 2000 mustang gt, all stock, and he thinks he can just tromp any 4 cylinder car. I told him to bring it to the local strip and we will see who's car is faster down the track. He acts like his car is godly and has so much power and because it has a bigger engine and that it is faster. I can't wait to prove him wrong! But there is nothing wrong with a v8 car, or a 4 cylinder, it's mostly owners that get their mouths running without knowing the other half of the argument, which is the other car in this case.

Most, if not all of us at DSMTuners respect pretty much anything that is fast. Some people have so much pride in they're choices, they'll always find some way to discredit those of others.

You're trying to prove to them that the DSM is easily as fast as the LS1 with equal money invested, and that it has as many, if not more American made parts..... Once convinced that this is fact (which it is), they'll move onto some other insult... like the way it sounds, or is pronounced, or... who knows what else

Porche started a debate on this a while ago. There research showed as long as you have a big turbo, variable valve timing and a good tune there isn't much difference in a application under 1500hp.

I like all fast cars. I have a boosted 92 camaro. Has a 383 lt1 with a novi 2000 supercharger. This is my 1st awd tsi with a few mods and its damm fast for a 4cyl. I can't imagine when I get the supporting mods for this hx40 I have on the shelf.

You will ALWAYS run into haters because its a 4banger. I like beating up on people in my v8 then when they bi*** I say let me go get my 4cylinder and well do it again.

if you all look at this. i posted something because they said 4cyl are all scared of v8s and wont race so i show then videos so what do i pick a dsm why because i know they can beat v8s yea i posted video of the 4cyl winning so they start an argument

i also posted stuff saying not all 4cyl are rice but they seem to say any 4 banger made in japan is rice

So the only argument there is, is v8 street car vs import. Which is a pretty ####ing stupid argument. Imports make fun street cars, thats it. Take them for what they are and enjoy it. They will never be a drag car, the consistency and reliability just isnt there.

V8's have a shit ton more potential, its just how it is. Plus we cant go and drop 20k on a trans and run 6's in the quarter on it. Or buy a bullet proof rear end.

to be honest i have no idea what a troll is. all i did was show proof that not just 4bangers are rice and that not all 4cyls are scared of v8s... if i want to get them mad i could of just said v8s fear dsms but i didnt because thats not all true. did i know they would turn that into a big argument no i did not i thought they would just take it for what it was.
