CAPS for Windows 7?

CAPS version 3.41 installed, but it won't let me open the program.

I have no idea what that means... But I doubt it's possible.

During the install, it does mention "To use CAPS you will need one of the following versions of Microsoft Windows® :

Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows 98 SE
Windows ME
Windows 2000
Windows XP"


And after installation, I get an "Unsupported 16-bit Application" error.

You could have windows 7 run as xp or vista.

I use it on win7 but everytime i click on the logo it goes through what looks like the install process again...but it works (no compatibilty mode used)

The other option you may have (and I'm personally wondering how well this works) is this.

I haven't been able to get it to install using compatibility mode, but I haven't really played with it much.

CAPs in no longer used
Mitsubishi now uses Aftersales Support Application or ASA program, its CAPs replacment.
ASA can be found here, http://lilevo.com/asa/

I run both CAPS and ASA on a Windows 7 laptop, you shouldn't be having any problems.

Not that I remember, I installed it forever ago though. If someone reminds me on Tuesday I can dig through the settings when I'm off work.

If anyone can get these ASA files to work on Windows 7 64-bit please share how. I used to have them installed but ever since I reformatted my computer they will no longer install properly.

I've never seen these work on a 64-bit OS, you may be SOL.

I don't know if you've seen/tried this, but it was put together to overcome whatever issues you folks are having with Windows 7 and the 64-bit OS: Mitsubishi ASA JDM and USDM.

I couldn't figure out how to download it..It kept taking me to different sites then saying this page cannot be displayed..I think I figured it out, hold on..Wait nope, I got the password wrong..It is Lower correct?

Thanks for the link, I'll give that a shot this weekend. It really was the weirdest thing; the ASA downloads from the lilevo site worked fine for me (and I even saved the files on my computer), but after I reformatted the computer they wouldn't work anymore.
