Crazy sh!t thats happened to you, or youve done

Theres alot of threads out there that share experiences with cops, ricers, dumb people, ect. but nothing for just random crazy experiences, so i figured ide start one.

So last night im driving the mazda 3 rental i have, and after the tobacco pipe was cashed, me and 2 other friends are driving down some back, county roads with deep ditches. All of a sudden my friend thinks its a good idea to rip the e-brake at 50 mph. Upon ripping the e-brake his hand flies off of it. So were sliding sideways at 50 mph, with the e-brake locked in the upmost position, as were sliding everythings in slo-mo, and everyones just staring at the e-brake handle like damn....
As we start to slide into the ditch we miss 2 or 3 street signs, the undercarrage scrapes the road where it meets the ditch, and were all thinking this cars about to flip. We end up stuck in this muddy ditch facing the opposite direction we were driving, and out of nowhere we hear a guy yell, "hold on i gotta four wheel drive!" We end up getting pulled out by a old school mitsubishi montero

What has happened to you? Also this doesnt have to be just about cars.

Crashed my 1990 240sx hatch at 80mph... Was messing around on a back road came down over a crested turn after cutting the corner. I was on the righty side of the road where my tire tracks started shot across the road missed a pole my friend broke years ago in his rwd volvo . Went in to the field missed some rocks while listening to my body kit just fall apart. Tried to counter steer back on to the road at id say 55-60mph. didnt work the car than pointed at 4 trees in a row ON TOP OF A HILL. I had enough speed to fly up the grass hill the ass end kicked out knicked all 4 tree and i shot back to the right side of the road and stopped. 150 feet up the road with a torn apart body kit rear quarter dented in. Control arm bent and the peoples yard i went through kept asking if i was ok while the guy across the road came out and said "IF YOU TAKE TRY TO TAKE OFF I'LL CHASE YOU DOWN UNTIL THE COPS FIND YOU"..... Yes it was my fault i was screwing around with the guy i knew in front of me racing down a back road but I dont care I would have probably died if i hit the pole the tree or flipped the car. And some how it didnt happen. The cop just took pictures and said "You obviously lost control because your control arm snapped.... I think he knew better but realized i just totalled my car and almost died.

A few years back me and some friends took a trip to our local sledding hill on a snow day from school. We took my friends Chevy Malibu and he was driving, I was riding shotgun, and two others guys were in the back. Anyway, we get to the hill and it looks really shitty so we bail on sledding. The road we were on had ditches on both sides, so we were looking for a driveway to turn around in. We didnt see any up ahead so my friend looks at me "Yo you think I got this K turn", I look at the road, "Yeah bro I think your good." Can you guess what happened next . We slid right into the ditch and crashed into a fence, we look at each other and start laughing are asses off, while his brother was in the back seat flipping shit (they sharred the car). Some old dude that looked like Mr. Rogers ended up pulling us out with his SUV.

Nothing too crazy has happened to me. When i was 16 and first got my license, me and my friend used to go out to this place out in the middle of knowwhere where they were just starting to develop a road for a new neighborhood. I was loose, fine dirt, and it was perfect for what we called "rally car-ing"(driving between 40-70 mph whipping the back end of his galant back and fourth and getting sideways around corners... and going off jumps ) He has a 2007 galant btw . We pretty much did this for fun, and to practice car control.

Anyways.. one day we came upon this hill that was at the perfect angle for ramping his car off of it and getting 2-3 feet of air. Exept instead of the dirt road, this was on a gravel side-road. So, me and my friend go off of the jump a few times, switching up drivers after every jump. It got back to my turn and i decided that instead of 50mph i would try it at 60 mph. bad idea. There was 2 pine trees on the left of the road about 40-60 feet away from the jump. I hit the jump at 60 and b/c of the faster speed i was at, it sent the back end up a little higher then the front and kind of sent me into a little bit of a nose dive. well, it all started to go wrong when I hit the jump kind of sideways(on purpose to see what it would be like to have to counter steer as soon as i hit the ground, terrible idea). I hit the ground, over corrected, and started to head towards those 2 trees i mentioned earlier. I kind of froze up for a second, but then I decided to just cut the wheel to the right all the way, give it a bit of e-brake action, and floor it. I was so close to hitting the tree that, the bark left scratches on the left corner of his bumper.

That was a freaking crazy adrenaline rush, i thought i had just f***ed up my friends brand new car.

i agree with a right not used is a right lost but once you read and understand the law, it clearly states that at no time any material is worth over a life. if the robbery is non-life threatening and you kill, you will be charged for 1st degree murder.

you cannot justify in court that you blew the theifs head because he was stealing your t.v. you will lose, no matter if he was in your house believe me.

you must try to call 911. then if your life is still in threat and you have a weapon you must warn the theif that you have a weapon and you will shoot if he does not leave, then again if it is certain that you feel that your life is in imminent danger then you can shoot, oh by the way you must prove all your efforts to use the weapon as your last resort. be careful your "defending our homes" and "right to bare arms" might backfire on you

Also, If a 'thief' broke into my house to steal my TV and I shot him, I'd be fine. Why? Because if someone breaks in your house, no matter the intention THEY have, how do YOU know what they intend to do? They might be there to steal your TV, kill you, your kids, and abuse your wife. I suppose instead of fearing for your family and simply ridding the world of said thief, you should sternly vocalize your intent on calling the police and hope for the best?

That would have constituted me getting out of the car, walking to the passenger side, opening the door, yanking my "friend" who pulled the e-brake out, laying the worst beating he could imagine on him, then him walking home. You don't eff with peoples lives like that. You want to be an idiot on your own time, fine, but not with other peoples lives at stake.

Craziest thing to happen to me in a while? Back on sept 10th I get dones changing the passenger side axle seal, get everything put back together, drive it around the block to make sure everything is all good and as I am drvining up my back alley, I see a little grey blur and then a thud under my back tire. I stop so see a mother opossum had run under my car while carrying like 6 babies. I had broken her back and some of the babies had been flattened, others injured. Great. So I go back home, get my pellet gun, hop in the tralblazer, drive back down there, and stick a pellet in the back of her head at 1200fps. About the most humane thing I could think of instead of letting her suffer with a broken back. I hate opossums but I never wanted to run over one. So, I get back home and decide I would like to go do some tuning. I hit the road in the dsm, do some 4th WOT pulls, get to where I am happy for the time being and strat to cruise home. There is an accident up ahead so they are diverting traffic onto a different exit. I follow suit and get off at that exit. Light turns green and I turn left. The light ahead is green so natually I proceed through the light at about 5-10moh under the speed limit. BOOM! NExt thing I know I am spinning out of control with so much force I can't move and I am just praying to God I am not going to die. After what seems like an eternity, the car comes to a crashing stop.

Some lady in a 1996 corolla ran a red light and t-boned me at 50-55mph. It was a great night.

Never had a shotgun incident, but have you had direct enemy small arms fire towards you? Or a combination of mortars dropping down on your hooch and you can only run for a bunker to save your life....? Didn't think so. I'm not sure what ## point is but None of these have made me wet my pants yet.

When you're sneaking around a house hoping to not get caught, a loud "BOOOM" would make your average person mud their pants. In fact, I'm pretty sure a dignified solider has no reason to be snooping around someone's house, correct? ;3 Then you have no worries and may come over to enjoy a beer, cards, and some gaming if you so please.

As far as being shot at? I have. We also don't play 'paintball' here. We unload the 'shot' from shotgun shells and hunt each other. Stupid? Maybe. Fun? Yes unless you're the one getting shot at. ;3

I had a police standoff go down in the living room of the house I was renting a room in. I was home.

Speaking of 12ga reports, there's quite a difference when one is fired in the confines of a home. I think I had some permanent damage to my hearing from that.
