2G Floor Mats

I am looking for some good 2G floor mats for my wife's GSX. It is a 1998. Does anyone know where I can get some good ones that fit well? Thanks!

I need some too. Tan ones with the Eclipse stitching. My 97 has foam on the underside of the mat that disintegrates and turn into black dust that makes the carpets filthy. So I haven't used them for a couple years.

My 96 Talon has rubber on the underside with the grippy's, not sure why my 97s suck.

I bought a set of black fitted RalliArt floor mats from eBay recently for my GSX. The fit was perfect, and the price was on-par with the universal mats you find at WalMart....although I'm sure over time the backs will crumble just the same as other cheap floor mats.

I was looking at some Ralliart floor mats on eBay too, like these:

I know the red will get dirty, but she likes that color I was more concerned with whether or not they fit. I might just have to try them out...

There was a seller on ebay that had brand new oem mats, but they were $80. I also looked into the mats that Sparco makes for the 2g and they are very nice and fit well, they were about $60 and they came with mats for the back seat as well.

No im sorry I dont have a link. I just used the shopping feature on Google and looked up Sparco floor mats and they came up. I saw them in a 2g before and the fit was perfect, they even have the hole for that hook thing on the floor to keep them from sliding around

My brother and I just bought brand new OEM ones. They are different than the OEM ones that came in my car (carpet-like material on top and that black rubber crap on the bottom that always crumbles). I'll see if I can get some pictures for you. I didn't like the material at first, but it's grown on me. They're black and have the Eclipse logo as well, but have some better material on the bottom that I don't see crumbling.

From what the previous owner of my GSX told me was that there was some sort of recall on the floor mats. Dealer gave him a second set of mats. I have both older and newer tan mats. That's probably why the change of material and so forth. Apparently they were were under into the pedal area

Thanks! I looked on there but couldn't find them. Looks like they say Eclipse. Now I just need to find out if the bottom is rubber or the crappy foam.

Pretty cheap for oem too.

That is the same part number I used to order the mats I mentioned above and they did not look like those. The picture shows the same OEM mats that came in my car. However, if someone can confirm that the ones JNZ sells do in fact look like the picture, I might be interested in them.

Are they all weather rubber mats, or just regular mats.

I would assume sense they are the stock mat it would be all weather.

I had these. The held up pretty nice. I had it for around 2 years. I was happy with it! But of course I was a clean freak so I never dirty it much!
I sold my car with it so I don't know how it is now,

I got some custom black ones off a member here and they had Eclipse stitched in white along with a Red Mitsu logo. They look real clean.

Here are the OEM floor mats I received by purchasing part number AEC5XF1D01 (same as from the link Chris posted, even though JNZ's picture is the older style). The diamond-shaped pattern on the bottom helps hold the floor mat in place, and has the brand name Mat-Loc printed in the middle. I don't think this material will flake at all like the older mat.
